About the Role

As a finance lead of BioTEC 2021, you will have the unique opportunity to manage the financial operations of Canada’s leading biotechnology conference. In planning and executing the finance strategy, you will develop and manage BioTEC’s budget (>$20k CAD annually), and manage contract negotiation and invoicing with our industry and academic sponsors. You will also have the opportunity to work with students with a variety of backgrounds and interests while cultivating strong leadership skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

Have experience managing finances of a large-scale event
Can communicate effectively (written and verbal);
Can manage priorities, timelines, and expectations in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, without compromising on the quality of outputs;
